Q: Will CBD get me high?
A: No. While you may feel a little different, you won’t get high or inebriated. You’ll be able to go about your day normally — maybe even a little better than normal.
Q: Where is your CBD from?
A: Our CBD is sourced from fully permitted hemp farms in the United States and Western Europe.
Q: Is CBD legal?
A: Yes, CBD from hemp is federally legal in the United States. However, rules about how it can be sold differ from state to state so if you have cause for concern you should check with your local state government. You definitely won’t get in trouble just for owning or using these products.
Q: What’s the difference between Hemp and Cannabis?
A: Botanically speaking, they are identical — they are Cannabis sativa or Cannabis indica. The difference is regulatory: Hemp is defined as any cannabis plant that has less than 0.3% THC by dry weight. Above that and it is considered “cannabis,” and is subject to much more stringent regulations.
Q: Can I take too much CBD?
A: We don’t know of anyone who has died or become seriously ill from consuming CBD. It has a remarkable safety profile: in 2019 the World Health Organisation found that “Cannabidiol…has no potential for abuse and no potential to produce dependence. It does not have significant ill-effects.”
Q: Will CBD cure my condition?
A: Unfortunately federal regulations bar us from giving any medical advice or making any claims about the efficacy of these products. Please consult your healthcare professional.
Q: How much CBD should I take?
A: Everybody responds differently to CBD, so it’s impossible to give you a personalized dosing recommendation here. We suggest starting with a dose of 10 to 20mg. If you get the desired result, stay at that dose, or even try a slightly lower dose. If you don’t get the effects you desire, try taking more.
Q: Can kids take CBD?
A: We don’t recommend it.
Q: Can I fly with CBD products?
A: Yes — as long as they are compatible with other rules (eg carryon liquid limits), there are no restrictions to flying with CBD products in the United States.
